Introduction to the PV world

In the last few years, solar PV technology has enhanced tremendously, and the increased popularity of battery storage has enabled systems to be extremely efficient. At the same time, the cost has dropped making it more affordable to have solar PV installed.

What do we offer

At JS Electrical, we specialise in solar PV installations, working alongside you to create the most efficient and suitable system for your property. Being MCS approved, all systems are designed using MCS guidance and software. All systems are designed and installed in house by JS Electrical* ensuring the quality of install is always to our high standard.

*Subcontractors are used for the scaffolding.

Optimisers

Solar panels can be damaged by prolonged shading, causing irreversible damage. When designing an array which may be exposed to shading, we recommend optimisers, these protect the system and prevent shading damage on panels, they also offer on average a 6.6% performance increase on generation.

SolaSkirt

Unfortunately, birds love to nest underneath solar panels, as a standard we install mesh bird guarding to prevent nesting. We do also offer a premium bird guarding system called SolaSkirt, these black skirts seamlessly tie the array in with the roof, providing an aesthetic improvement as well as protection.
